Despite evidence to the contrary, my Nuzlocke lives! Just three years delayed – nothing bad happened in the last three years, right?

Anyway, let’s go through the first battle of South Paramecia and… oh dear I’m low level. Uh-oh.

One year ago today my father died. I still miss him dearly (although he’s still nearly omnipresent in my dreams, oddly enough), but sadness is not on the cards today. I’m surrounded my friends, cats, and games.

He and I played a lot of games together, growing up. Beyond the Beyond was one of them (in fact, one of the last games we did play together on a console). As such, in pseudo-tribute to him, I’m playing Beyond the Beyond.

Don’t get me wrong, BtB isn’t exactly a good game. I just have a special fondness for it. I also MST3k it like mad. :)

For an example, Let’s Play Might and Magic VII SPOON!ed might include a regular runthrough of MM7…  with a party of Goblin Druids.  Things like that.
